Asckey gains "Commended" in IM Awards 2005

ASCKEY shortlisted for IM Awards 2005Following our finalist listing in 2003, Asckey Data Services Ltd has this year (2005) been awarded "commended" in the Supply Chain management section of the IM Awards. This has been achieved in partnership with the Department of Health with the ProCure21 web based monitoring application.

ProCure21 is a national procurement strategy for the Department of Health’s Capital Programme across England. The system provides on line data collection and analysis. The data ranges from subjective information acquired through balanced scorecard pages, to financial information relating to the whole life of major building projects.

In fact, we were shortlisted in two other categories for these awards:

  • Supply Chain
  • Intranet
  • Business Intelligence

and for the the overall Premier Project award.

We share our Commended Status with Pfizer Inc., and finished ahead of such well known names as Taylor Woodrow.

From the IM Awards web site:

The Information Management Awards, now in their tenth year, are the premier European recognition of excellence and innovation in the management of business information. They are a showcase for the success stories of organisations that have demonstrated the vision and business skills to implement very successful projects and develop innovative new products.

These organisations deserve the accolades of being publicly acknowledged as the industry leaders and the accompanying extensive high-profile media coverage of their achievements.

ProCure21 in use
The ProCure21 process covers all major Hospital building and refurbishment, with users including NHS Trusts, the major construction firms involved in such projects and the Department of Health and other government departments with interests in this area. The web monitoring system provides access to users from all of these bodies on a fully validated and "need to know" basis so far as access to specific parts of the system is concerned. Editing data is fully interactive, with the extensive data being amendable by those with permission to do so at any time after initial entry and up to final "closing" of any part of a project.
